I hav'nt been able to celebrate the 100 years of the bar but probably shall try to do a 101 party
On the invitation of Mr. Peter Shaindlin and with the very best collaboration from Vikram Garg, the extremely inventive Executive Chef of the Halekulani Hotel, we opened a bar with Head Bartender Henry and the very beautiful Joanna with a french perfume of Coco Chanel and Absinthe from “la Suisse et la France”. What an extraordinary success, we had almost too many people coming to the bar except, you can never have too many people coming to the bar !
I was also very impressesed with the professionalism of the Orchid restaurant team. The briefings for the clients is at the level of an executive meeting. Each waiter know exactly what his client ate the last time and with what wine, true Cesar Ritz style when he was a Head Waiter.
