The Hong Kong LVMH event was a great opportunity for me to visit for the first time.
A cocktail for originally 120 people in the Louis Vuitton showroom became more popular by the minute. I think we had much more than 120 happy cocktail lovers.
Staying in the Mandarin Oriental offered me an opportunity for a Manhattan in their very famous Captains Bar. A lovely traditional bar with silver tankards and Martini goblets. The Ozone bar of the Ritz Carlton in Kowloon is a must to. It’s the World’s highest bar and the view is incredibly breathtaking. The cocktails are very interesting too.
The assistant Head Bartender presented a marvelous creation. A red tray with a whisky sour, aromatized with ice made with a small amount of Laphroag. The cocktail is actually garnished with stunningly large slices of French truffle. Rosemary garnish on the side.
